  1. My boss doesn't pay me at all. Although, Jason's kind of not supposed to and I'd rather he not anyway. And umm... my boss doesn't seem to get too annoyed when I'm overly painfully busy with real life for extremely long periods of time.
  2. I use my WFG signature more-or-less on every forum I'm registered on. Mostly due to lack of any other signature to use, but also because it's a nice, proffessional looking signature. BTW, Tim, how come the smallest font size is so large now?
  3. Interesting... well, it would certainly help with compatibility, but... I generally don't like to be so dependant on a browser. Also, online stuff is inevitable somewhat slower. I'd prefer a normal program. But I'm all for the idea, since it would certainly help kill Microsoft Office... I'm always hearing of compatibility problems, which a web-based thing would circumvent.
  4. Happy Birthday!! Hah! I'm older than you. Hmm... weren't b-day announcements usually in News?
  5. I doubt you did. I was kind of joking in my post.
  6. And more complaint to standards... It's called alternate text for a reason. Hmm... either it's been fixed after you made your post, or your cache went screwy. Right-click - View Image, and reload it a bunch of times. The subforum into columns thing was a mod that has to be redone.
  7. Hmm... well, either it's fixed itself or I am unbelievably blind and thought that because the usernames weren't underlined due to them not being links, the users were considered guests.
  8. You might want to be more polite to the quality assurance manager, Argalius... he might report that a bug caused user 412 to have 1000 posts than he's supposed to. And perhaps he may decide to ignore the bug that the water in our wells are radioactive blue.
  9. Yeah, it's a problem with the flash plugin for Linux. Which helps my dislike of flash. Nothing anyone can do about it until the open source flash plugin starts actually working and supporting stuff or the lazy flash developers get something done for once. Hopefully now that Macromedia is run by Adobe it will be better... but I somehow doubt it.... Acrobat Reader for Linux is kind of crappy. (Go (x|k|g)pdf!)
  10. More stuff: Several posts are gone. http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.p...=0entry158811 - wasn't this one two pages at least? The mod to the left part of the post viewing thing is gone. A lot of people's avatars seem to be missing
  11. I'm assuming you mean prize, right? Hmm... November 23, maybe.
  12. Wait a second... isn't that the same as Quick Edit? In which case it wouldn't be an IPS innovation. I've seen a version from WFG and another version in another forum. EDIT: And text sizes seem to be borken. (i.e. the same code produces bigger text.) Hmm... am I the only one who doesn't like the new blue background in the post dialog? It seems overly dark and such. EDIT2: It seems seveeral of the newer members' accounts got deleted. http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.p...=0entry158972 http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.p...=0entry159299 http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9020 http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8938 http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9030 http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=8957 Tons more, too.
  13. Welcome! ...where have I seen your name before... Oh! You were a member of AOMM/MC, weren't you? (Yes, we are still working at it... or rather they are... I'm more or less semi-retired now...) Anyway, glad you've registered at WFG.
  14. Welcome! Very impressive list of previous experience. (Hmm... shouldn't the title be Number_Of_Programmers++; ?)
  15. Already a year? Wow. That means I've been a staff member for almost a year! Cool! But, yeah, a new crier would be cool. Also, since it's sent out to everyone, it could remind a few of the people who have disappeared about WFG.
  16. Well if the tools don't ship for Linux, I'm not going to be too happy with the rest of the team. But the tools that we will ship with will be, as far I know, format converters and stuff. I believe we will be supplying tools to make editting the xml files easier and such, but they aren't neccessary. For converting through Blender, at the moment, we only have conversion tools for 3DS MAX, but that will probably change in the future. After all, I'm starting to use Blender to unwrap my models. (Go LSCM Unwrapping! )
  17. Jeru, maybe? I'm more-or-less agnostic/atheist.
  18. I'm the guy in black hair and glasses in the western part of good ol' Indiana. Technically, that says I'm 'around here', but, by luck, I happened to hit the house right across the street from me.
  19. Hmm... is there any reason the tags on this page aren't working? Anyway, maybe reimplement that change from the old forum system so that the title would show Topic Title -> WFG Forums, so that it's nicer on tabs and the taskbar.
  20. Grave pic... Oh yeah... I remember that.... I've probably got it on my computer, but... since I'm in Oregon, I can't really reach it from here (considering Indiana is a bit of a distance from Oregon). I'll be able to get it to after I get back, meaning the 12th of August. Hopefully I can remember by then.
  21. Ok.... that was really really messed up.... Funny, but overdone in some areas. I really like the Farm being "sort of a... field", though.
  22. I've never seemed to find good satellite pics of our house anywhere.... I seem to remember reading about Google driving trucks with lasers mapping a 3d map of San Francisco. Too lazy to go get the article on slashdot. Google maps also seems to have good satellite pics of Detroit. For fun, we were looking for the hotel we were staying in for a math contest, so we looked at Detroit maps. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=renaissance+...10664&t=k&hl=en (We stayed in the middle tower in that group of 5.)
  23. Well, this is more-or-less the only forum I go to When 0AD is released, I'll probably be able to bring in a flood of people from Linux forums, though. (Though, we'll be getting floods of people anyway.) People have been waiting for a long long time for a really good Linux RTS game... and some of these forums are pretty big Gentoo forums: We have 88437 registered users In total there are 305 users online :: 103 Registered, 12 Hidden and 190 Guests Most users ever online was 1850 on Thu Dec 30, 2004 5:17 pm Mandriva Users: 126 guests, 6 members 0 anonymous members We have 11252 registered members Ubuntu Forums: Currently Active Users: 594 (95 members and 499 guests) View Who's Online Most users ever online was 899, 06-04-2005 at 06:20 PM.
