I am new in this gaming genre, but I really like it. So are there any historical real-time strategies telling about more modern people and cultures? 0 A.D is created for those who really appreciate good graphics, so now I am looking for the game with graphics on the same level.

Don't know about marketplaces, but I've found 0 A.D. thanks to forums. Can't remember, where it was discussed, but publishing news about the game on game-related websites seems to be a good idea. And some online resources don't ask money for publishing. I usually choose games which are revied on Gamespot, for example.
