  1. i think you can make them run by attacking a lion and then giving them a move order, lion coming after them does it
  2. So in the end of this page you can find out how to add custom hotkeys by editing your user config file This is how i altered mine hotkey.session.patrol = "Alt+E" hotkey.session.repair = "Alt+R" hotkey.selection.idleonly = "Alt+A" ; Select only idle units hotkey.selection.idleunit = "Alt+Q" ; Select next idle unit hotkey.tab.next = "Tab" hotkey.tab.prev = "Shift+Tab" hotkey.selection.nonmilitaryonly = "Alt+W" hotkey.selection.woundedonly = "Alt+S" hotkey.camera.rotate.ccw = "Ctrl+RightArrow", "E" ; Rotate camera anticlockwise around terrain hotkey.camera.rotate.cw = "Ctrl+LeftArrow", "Q" ; Rotate camera clockwise around terrain hotkey.session.rotate.ccw = "Ctrl+D" ; Rotate building placement preview anticlockwise hotkey.session.rotate.cw = "Ctrl+A" ; Rotate building placement preview clockwise hotkey.session.kill = Space ; Destroy selected units Some notes After setting the patrol point with Alt+E you need to release the E key first or the camera will rotate (like pressing E alone by default) I didn't manage to test Alt+R vs Sandbox AI Alt+A works exactly like the default "I" idle unit selection Alt+Q sadly only selects all idle units without moving the camera so it cannot replace the default Period / Idle button next to the minimap which jumps from idle unit to idle unit Alt+W / S and Ctrl+A / D are used for other things by default so you have to clear those things first like i did, if not, Ctrl+D for example will rotate the camera and the building at the same time etc After saving you changes and starting the game all comments (they start with ";") will be auto deleted and all lines will be automatically sorted alphabetically so don't get scared your file looks different when you check back on it In the default settings you will find on the bottom of the page posted above, don't forget to add the prefix that is mentioned between brackets at the start of each section I hope this helps some people, also feel free to share a more efficient setup
  3. I was wondering if i can find and download the music of the game, or the pics and quotes used on loading screens thanks
  4. The mods i need to watch the round 2 replay @Jofursloft posted above How come i could spectate their round 1 game without any of these dependencies being met but it doesn't let me watch round 2 from replay?
  5. @PrincessChristmas upload replays vs @RomuloSinRemo?
  6. I have read the manual both in game and online, played some games vs AI and here are some things still unclear to me: What is the purpose of the loot stat? Do you get the amount specified when you kill an enemy unit? What about when you delete a unit / building of your own, do you get loot? What if you capture an enemy building? If a building gets destroyed do garrison units die or do they come out like when it gets captured by the enemy? In spearman description it says 3x against cavalry, 3x what? attack? armor? both? Does a basic swordsman counter a basic spearman in 1v1? i say basic because different civs have the same units just with different names How does the bribing mechanic work, it has to be researched from Civic Center (Espionage), then what? I know in the welcome screen it says formations are still work in progress, do they give any bonuses now? mousing over them gives no info History of Britons and Gauls says they gather food faster but their women and men have 0.8 and 0.6 food gather rate which is the same as every other civ, how much is the bonus and is it displayed somewhere? When infantry gets +1 hack and pierce armor from that technology from Blacksmith, the stats of any infantry unit do not change on right click info screen, is that a bug? they only change on rank up Is there a way to choose what resource you get from traders? if not, do they choose randomly or do they trade the resource you have less of? Roman Temple of Vesta is the exact same as a normal Temple? Roman armor bonus in Roman territory does is also count ally or even enemy Roman territory? Unit armor stats on right click info screen do not change when in Roman territory, is the armor bonus of 10% so little that it gets rounded down? and finally more of a suggestion than a question, i have the impression that some civ bonuses are not being mentioned anywhere in game besides the history tab, for example the Athenian metal mining bonus gets mentioned on a tooltip when you mouse over the Age upgrade on the Civic Center but the Roman territory civ bonus is not visible on right click screen info of a unit, or the Macedonian bonus / debonus, or the Iberian price reduction of cavalry units etc and besides some civ bonuses only being mentioned in history tab, shouldn't unit bonuses / debonuses in general be visible in a unit's right click info screen? like blacksmith upgrades, how can i see what upgrades a unit has other than going on Blacksmith and seeing what upgrades are not available anymore? thanks EDIT: 12.What does the small dot before a player's name mean? has he marked me as buddy? or have i marked him? 13.If i mark someone as Buddy can i join his games as spectator if he only allows Buddies or does he have to have marked me as Buddy for this to happen? 14.How can i join a game that has already started, and i was not initially in, as a player (assuming a player has left)? if i click to join an orange lobby it asks me to join as observer not as a player 15.Some units / building say they fire more arrows per unit garrisoned, the interval stays the same? for example if the basic is 1 arrow per 2 seconds and i garrison 10 units does it go 11 arrows per 2 seconds? and do all units count? even women?
  7. So i have an old card (nvidia geforce 9600GT 512mb) and besides the vram being on the brick of death at ~500mb with only having 0ad open (i am on linux mint tara and cinnamon seems to take about 120mb of the vram), i get very low fps even below 10 with the default settings so i am trying to experiment with them and see how it goes so if someone has too an old card i would appreciate seeing his graphics settings Here are some changes i made -disabled shadows, seemed to have helped a lot with fps -from water i only kept water depth and water refraction (disabling reflections seems to have helped a lot), disabling water entirely is eye cancer and i didn't notice a considerable boost on fps to make it worth it And that's pretty much it, now from top to bottom i don't know what these settings do: -prefer gsl and fog, they were enabled, i left them so -post processing was disabled, i don't know what it does, would it help with fps if i enabled it? -shader effects, less effects for higher fps? what would be the cost on the looks of the game? -smooth LOS, should it be on or off to help with fps? -show sky, i don't know what the point of this is, camera is top down, how can the developers see the sky? -vsync is off, would it help fps if it was on? -the last 2 throttling setting? how do they work? it says putting it on max disables it and that if it is on it helps with the CPU, so why not have it at min? how do these 2 settings reflect on fps? Picture of my current graphics settings------> thanks
