I have been a long term player and fan of 0.A.D and with a friend, we've recently been playing quite a bit of it.
To make a long story short, I thought overall game performance (unit movement) could be improved (modify and fork the game code) further by going back to the 0.A.D Alpha 4 unit selection limit of 40 (reduce pathfinding issues and overall game performance).
I am wondering what part (and where) in the game's source code, the unit selection limit value is (image below is for reference)?
