  1. If I recall correctly, you should be able to rejoin in the lobby. (The game should still be in the gamelist with your slot reserved for you). Clicking Join Game should allow you to rejoin.
  2. Keep in touch with the developers. If I recall correctly, they had a really hard time trying to debug that because almost none of them had retina displays.
  3. I've made some optimizations to the bot. Hopefully that will help the lag issues. (r14387)
  4. If you've port forwarded before (UDP 20595) such as on previous alphas, it should be guaranteed to work. Otherwise, if your router supports upnp and the upnp works as implemented, you should be able to host as well. There are no extra permissions with regards to hosting.
  5. It was quite early in the game, both players had just Town Phased and had no more than 200 units. Unknown Land, Medium (3p). The events before it crashed were those of normal gameplay.
  6. Iberians, imo, are overpowered in terms of tanking. If you have ~4 garrisoned fortresses with a row of 20 champion cavalry skirmishers behind them, it is virtually impenetrable. Rams and elephants are reduced to dust by the time they reach the fortresses due to the champion cavalry skirmishers (and fortress arrows). Catapults are taken down extremely quickly by the champion cavalry skirmishers (from a safe distance). Spearmen are also not able to counter them without suffering heavy losses from the garrisoned fortresses.
  7. I prefer having constant regeneration on berries and sigmoid regeneration on fish. "Over-berry-picking" should have a noticeably smaller negative ramifications than overfishing. New tactics may be introduced (depleting the fish around opponent docks).
