  1. Currently Prodigal Son is busy so he cannot making further improvements to the mod

    and currently the mod is unplayable if the templates is unmodified.

    So hereby i ask can i or anyone who is willing to play this mod can help Prodigal Son to make this mod playable on

    svn? Of course no changes on templates attributes data should be set as a principle

    ,only change the templates to fit the requirements of the SVN.

    This maintainment needs discussion so i put this topic here to let anyone who cares about the development of the mod talks here.

  2. I kinda fixed the Visibility of entities problem by copying svn template_unit.xml ...etc

    into mod/simulation/templates ...anyway it works.

    My first impression of this mod is..OMG the marian reform technology really works!

    can Prodigal Son explain how does that technology works?

    why the barracks and entreched camp changes the premarian production button into marian legionnaires button?

    i want to know the mechanism behind this reform technology

  3. i got this mod downloaded and running on the latest svn,but when i am trying to play this mod on a demo map

    the CXeromyces: Parse components reports a lot of error,every entity cannot be loaded successfully due to lack of attributes

    such as RetaininFog

    but i've checked the attributes lost reported by pyrogenesis,they are all in the templates files

    is it my own fault or is it something in the templates files need to be fixed?

    the stone wall fence was stripped from iberian corral

    the wooden fence was stripped from persian corral(and the texture,as in pic,was a huge hack)

    the origin design task proposes a wooden fence shall be good.

    I've been noticed by sanderd17 that the roof do not look good

    (i think so,the texture resolution is low and it needs to come over the wall)

    and the problem that the hay prop always places on of it's hay out of fence

    no matter how i rotate or translate the prop point

    therefore i'm in need of designing suggestions

    or someone else has better idea can take this task and discuss your solution

    very few knowledge of C++,JS,linux,Regex,i made an treasure entity of 0ad before,made an android port of 0ad (svn 13242) by following instructions on the wiki,i made a guard button in unitcommand panel in /gui/,i made simple program calculating 2d diffusion equation with any initial condition back in college days

    Motivation:
    I want to learn how to use JS,learn more APIs of C++,"Seeing things i built worked then destroy it"

    Personality:
    I like to ask questions like "is this gonna work?",if someone say yes and i feel yes then i will go blindly

    berserks doing it.I build things on foundations and definitions i got loosely so if the foundations keeps changing i will feel frustrated since i have to constantly upkeep my stuff with the updated foundation but i guess this is the price one should take.I do things with my testosterone "quickly done but imprecise".

    Short Essay:
    During my childhood i build castles with blocks,tear it down and build it again,i made simple crossbow which works but shoot far,i build my own computer with parts,i build some furniture of my house,

    made an "Icon of defender" of Hexen 2 out of clay then throw it away,I firmly believe in constructivism

    even people back in academia say that doesn't work,i work like a machine receving instructions and variables until i get fired(since i am too slow to react to new instructions!),

    Interests and Hobbies:
    I kinda willing to do anything that is "useful",I studies things that maybe "useful" like physics,math in college days(i have forgotten most of the very painful details which takes a lot of time to understand),I play FPS like Quake,Half-life(1&2),Garry's mod,Red orchestra
    ,Bicycling is my favorite sport since it's the kind of sport i can do without sweating too much.

  6. is that fine to use models from RTW forum?

    anyway ,you can use 3dsmax 9 and scripts post on their forum to convert .cas model to .dae(not directly,but one can convert to Wavefront first)

    you can use their armature and their helmets, heads...they are high resolution!

    I like their Galatian Infantry swordman,but how about ptolemic silver shield and companion cavalry?

    wooden palisade barracks ,Great tent with wooden furnitures inside and decorations outside as decorations

    as their Hun town center,

    wooden piles and stashes as storage , rectangular wooden palisade sheepyard ,but what about huns's building

    civ's spec name and they MUST have horse archers ,with animation MUST be implemented!

    In RTW,Imperial Unit were Implemented,but one must read about how the system build and changed from augustus's time to

    the time of Trajan,even to Serverus.

    I think that in imperial rome,like carthaginians can build different "Colonial buildings" and hire different auxillia unit like

    Germanic Auxillia Skirmisher

    Parthian Horse Archers

    North african camel light cavalry or Nigerian-skirmishers

    Parthian archers

    i feeling same, about play with roman imperials, but is a long path, is better for now have republicans romans to test it the game, in final part, the context is diferent, and gameplay features will be interesting. specially barbrians and christians

    I believe that difference can be implenmented as building a christian church or a roman pagan building

    (I belive for roman pagan,Temple of jupiter or Temple of Mars will be enough)

    and i believe the champion unit for imperial rome can be praetorians

    so i zipped it

    how to install 0ad for android by using my apk

    1. besure that your drive is rooted

    2.move and install 0ad.apk to your phone

    3.download and move libpyrogenesis_dbg.so to /data/local of your phone

    4.download public.zip of 0ad inside /binaries/data/mods/public/ ,then move to

    /(your sdcard path )/0ad/data/mods/public

    of your phone

    5.extract shaders.zip to /(your sdcard path )/0ad/data/mods/public/shaders

    6.done ,if your phone got small screen like mine (480 x 854 pixels, 4.0 inches (~245 ppi pixel density))

    you got to modify /gui/gamesetup/gamesetup.xml

    mine Build version is svn 13242

  11. It's the first thing i've ever made, after reading all the documentation, trolling with blender ,importing and exporting, i've made something that's worthy fighting for

    boxs of fruits worth 800 food.

    because i am using blender,i'm having a hard time removing all the stuff between <diffuse> tags

    in the /art/meshes/props, i am doing this by myself

    is there any way to do this by using xml parser or Regex?

    Here's my question

    Is there any way to make a tech button script such that

    It can convert a kind of unit of yours, say, all your roman hastati into Marian Legionnaries.,

    and preserves your previous weapon upgrade effect

    since roman 's may get "Reforms" in their tech

    Anyone got any idea of how to script this?

    I have read binaries\data\mods\public\\simulation\data echnologies\

    but seem it can only modify values of armor,hack,health...etc right now
