  1. Hi Read this thread, explains why there will be no release date in the near future. http://www.wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10979
  2. There is many reasons why I use Linux (Ubuntu), safety/security, usability/configurability and lower system requirements. On top of that, I'm a student, who does not have much money, and Ubuntu is free, and so is almost every Linux program. Also I have a problem with a company has a de facto monopoly on what software, one run on ones computer. I like diversity
  3. Hi The development of the game looks great can hardly wait, even worse than waiting for Christmas I have search around in the forum, and from what I can understand the game will also be available on Linux, is this right?? And will it be out on the same time as the windows version? Keep up the good work
  4. First of all thank you for this video, it looks very cool, and specially the scenery. As already mentioned there seems to be some small problems with the animation, and the "path finding" of the group of soldiers we follow in the start, it seems like a very "linearly" the path they follow. The problem with the video is that I want more and more Can not wait to the project/game is finished
  5. First of all I would like to say that this game looks awesome and I think it really is going to be as good as or even better than commercial games. Since I am also a Linux user it is cool that it will also be available to this platform. I think that what Breepee wrote is quit right and that making it open source now would probably not do any good to the progress of the game. How ever I think that when the game is finished it should be realest under GPL or another open source licence, since a nice engine like this would make open source gaming take great step forward. I think that making open source games can be achieved if one look at games like www.glest.org and www.nexuiz.com. They have both nice graphics and a very good gameplay. Especially glest can be compare with 0 A.D so I think that making 0 A.D open source should be done, but that it should be up to the developers to make the decision when it will benefit the games development.
