  4. Icons like at minimap (trees, stone, iron) currently that are just dots of some colour, c++ changes Icons like that one around minimap for idle workers and diplomacy, possible.

  5. It's already almost a week, but Emperior hasn't got over his defeat and it has come to him spreading some false accusations about my supposed cheating. Today he compared me to JC and that was the time when I decided to take actions. So here we are, let's put the replay here for everyone to judge. We picked a less played civilizations, so this probably could be a nice game to watch on its own. Teams: r4pt0r, Boudica, PhyZic vs. Emperior, Unknown_Player, darkcity The encounter we were talking about happened at 30:00. I had 50 archers, 6 elephants and 5 pikemen. Emperior tried to counter my army with 35 spearmen, 16 pikemen and 12 skirmishers. You probably already noticed that his army balance was sub-optimal with below 20% of ranged units. The funnier part is that my archers got all attack upgrades, which made each of them deal twice the DPS compared to the spearmen Emperior's army mainly consisted of. I concentrated my army so that my elephant's don't get cut off and die to skirmishers. Emperior proceeded to attack my elephants and pikemen, which were on the front, so they served their tanking role perfectly. Emperior's army was cut to pieces as expected and that was all there was to it. The weird thing followed when Emperior accused me of dancing with the elephants. There wasn't really much commanding of those elephants from my side as the fight was basically a no-brainer victory. All of the elephants lost quite a lot of health but it would be expected for them to take some time before dying to spearmen. Some of the elephants were walking part of the time but there was barely any chasing noticeable. So this is it. Emperior could be heard he can't be bothered to make a GIF of the situation to prove my cheating, so I took the time and made a GIF of all the elephant dancing I could see in that game: 2019-06-22_ElephantDance.zip

  6. It's basically the same issue with wandering animals. Whales use the same wandering code as deer and elephants.

  7. Mmmm. You're right to try to spruce up the roofline. It is quite bland. I think the round part though looks like late Romans/Byzantine as Lion suggests. I would try making the 1st floor "wings" more symmetrical. So both either have roofs or are parapets.

  8. Perhaps instead of/ in addition to the current system, you can recruit troops from an enemy building that gets captured. So for example, if you capture Persian barracks, you can recruit their javelineer, archer, and Shieldbearer. These would probably be 'auxiliaries' instead of mercenaries, though.

  9. I personally don't care for the addition. It seems overly ornate for a a military structure or at least too round for an otherwise square-ish aesthetic. Granted, that's just my opinion.

Hi, I'm a translator in the armenian language, and I'd like to know how I can become a reviewer or a coordinator, because many sentences have been mistranslated and I feel like I'm the only one who translates the strings. I read a lot of topics about translations in the forum and now I know that I have to ask a coordinator or a reviewer to become one too but there is no coordinator or reviewer in the Armenian language. So I ask you how I can become the first.

  16. The Catafalques are supposed to house the remains of the men mentioned in their name. So yeah, "Catafalque of Solon" would be the best generic name and then the specific name translation from that.

  22. That's pretty darn cool... Are you sure it's best to just spawn resources like that on arrival? Wouldn't it be better for the resource trickle to go directly to the player that controls the trade post. If nobody controls the trade post the camel just passes? Anyway, really cool job! I'm sure @wowgetoffyourcellphone might be interested in implementing something like that on some of his new maps...

  23. I think we should try to keep them under 800 polys unless they are multiple trees in once. If people start spamming these we are gonna have a big performance problem :/
