  2. @vanz Reason I ask: i find it a good idea to attack the AI immediately after the AI attacks you, when its soldiers are depleted, and it cannot effectively defend itself. Especially, towers can be captured with ease. If you let it keep attacking, it means it can boom in parallel.
  3. Aggressive - attacks early and more often. Defensive - attacks late with huge force, builds more towers and Forts earlier. Balanced - somewhere in between the two.

Question 12 has many alternative answers, e.g. Spain Question 20 could be phrased a bit more clearly in a different way Question 7: Don't forget Lorenz11 and SchweinePriester! Question 15 has many alternative answers
  14. I'm on Windows, but, it's just simply not there, which is why it's confusing. I have Atlas and everything, but I don't seem to have the Actor Editor specifically

My thinking on this one: farms are usually placed next to deposit sites already, and you build storehouses directly near the mines, for in these cases, you dont benefit from less time spent to return with gathered resources, in fact one can argue you introduce an indesirable delay in receiving the resources to your stockpile. I see these mainly as a boost to wood gathering, since the walking time to the storehouse increases over time as harvested trees disappear.

  17. My intention is not to arrive at right or wrong, but rather see how others approach the questions, so I can arrive at my conclusions. And maybe the conversation helps others too, if others share their opinoons. I will indeed try some new things mentioned here . What I think would be great is, if we had a "0 AD SotL" who would actually share videos about such calculations. I think this has the potential to improve gameplay design as well as make the game more popular.
  18. Aggressive means that the first attack is launched rather early, defensive means the attack is launched rather late. That's it, basicly. And maybe the defensive one builds more towers and fortresses, but I'm not sure...
  19. What is the difference of aggressive and defensive AI? I mean, I always set it to defensive, and expecting them to build a solid, impenetrable defense that would require a large number of troops and multiple attempts to defeat (I thought it would be fun). But instead, they would launch a massive attack and destroy me first, even if I am doing nothing.

  21. But their turn rate and acceleration are much better. Also factor in the length of their spears.
