Positions available:

Essayist / Ardaquenta Editor

We are looking for applicants who are deeply versed in Tolkien's Lore and have a good general knowledge about the world that Tolkien created. It is recommended that the applicant has access to all the standard works of the professor and more importantly has access to the 'History of Middle-earth' and is willing to contribute to TLA's Ardaquenta online encyclopedia.

Game Designer / Design Consultant

We are looking for creative and resourceful people that want to help us make TLA the best possible Tolkien experience possible. Members of the Game Design Department are responsible for shaping the content of TLA. This means any aspiring applicant must be deeply versed in Tolkien's lore and must have access to the 'History of Middle-earth' volumes and of course be familiar with the concept of RTS games. Excellent communication skills and self-motivation are mandatory assets that any member of the Game design department should possess.

3D Modeler / Animator

With our leap into production we are in need of capable modelers and animators. Applicants should be experienced with 3D Studio Max and graphic programs like Photoshop or Paintshop Pro. Providing a portfolio of your work is a must to properly assess your application.

Texture Artist

Giving TLA it's unique appearance demands creativity and dedication. Texture Artists must have experience in creating textures using graphic programs as Photoshop or Paintshop Pro. They will be working with our internal converter tools to transport their work straight into the game. Knowledge of .xml is also prefereable but not mandatory. Providing a portfolio of your work is a must to properly assess your application.

Musician

Have you ever wanted to create Tolkien-themed music? Would composing something like "Fëanor's Theme" be a worthy challenge for your skills? Then do not hesitate and contact us and help create the soundtrack to our depiction of Tolkien's epic tales. Please provide a link to your work.

Sound Designer

Creating the sounds of Middle-earth is a unique and important task. We are looking for experienced Sound Designers who can assist us in shaping TLA as a tribute to Tolkien's genius. Sound Designers will also work closely with our Linguistic Department in order to properly recreate all the wonderful languages that the professor left us behind in his books. Please provide a link to your work to properly assess your application.
