Work
Cart
The
Work Cart is used as a mobile drop-off point for any
resource gathering. Whether a Thrall or a Slave is cutting
down trees, mining minerals or burrowing into underground
places, he can use the work cart as a place to drop
off his gatherings. Not every resource, however, is
physically gathered and dropped off - sometimes resources
are generated from assigning Thralls or Slaves to work
inside of buildings. Every Work Cart generates its own
Guard Area so assigning Wolves to it will protect it
further.

Caravan
The
counterpart to the Work Cart is the Caravan. Unlike
the Work Cart, the caravan does actually consist of
multiple carts. It has its own Guard Area, which allows
the player to assign Guard units to it, and it is meant
to travel player-defined, or auto-defined trade routes.
Like the Work Cart, the Caravan can be captured and
its contents plundered. The Caravans of Morgoth are
built at the Hold and can also be outfitted and loaded
with trading goods there. Sometimes the only way of
gaining rare Goods means sending off Caravans to Minor
Civilisations which are on friendly terms with the player.

Dragon
Ram
A
unique design, fashioned after the dreadful Worms of
Morgoth, the Dragon Ram is an armoured Ram that carries
and protects the warriors inside from harm and has the
ability to slowly eat itself even through walls using
a Burning Fire created in Morgoth’s dark forges. Using
it’s Burning Fire ability consumes the Dragon Ram’s
power. Once depleted it has to be refilled at the Forge.
Extremely long building times make this one of the most
expensive units in TLA, but in the hands of a capable
player the Dragon Ram will become a powerful weapon.
Abilities:
Attack (Crush), Burning Fire, Unload

Catapult
Another engine of war is the Catapult. Created in the
Forge and laden with spells of destruction the slow
and heavy Catapult is another vital equipment for every
capable player. Raining down boulders or enchanted burning
or poisonous ammunition the Catapult can play the key
role in taking enemy fortifications. Like every Siege
equipment in TLA, the Catapult has to be manned with
dedicated operators to function properly.
Abilities:
Attack (Ranged), Target Ground, Melkor’s Fire, Melkor’s
Plague, Dismiss Operators
