We are looking for hard working individuals with a good temperament, the ability to commit 10+ hours a week to the project, have a passion for RTS gaming, and a burning desire to accomplish something that few have achieved before. If that sounds like you, read on!
As you have probably read on our website, Wildfire Games is a collaborative virtual development project that is supported by the members of Wildfire Games that contribute their time and energy free of charge with the ultimate goal of shipping a freeware game to the public.
WFG members are not paid in actual currency, but we are paid in other ways. We will have the satisfaction of creating a game and going to levels that few other independent game developers have attained. We will have a great accomplishment to put on our resumes. Several former members of Wildfire Games have gone on to full time careers in the gaming industry.
The links above have some brief descriptions of the job positions we are looking to fill. Although Wildfire Games is a team of volunteers, we require those interested in working with us to apply online so we can get to know them better.
At the moment we test using the Wildfire Games forums in the application process, as that makes it easier for more people on the team to take part in the interviewing process.
